I said I was moving on to better things and I will.
99.9 Gator Country sounds like it is doing very well.
These are the reasons people are tuning in to Gator Country:
1. Their are Jocks
2. Have a great morning show (by the way I wake up to it in the morining)who goes by the name of Dixie and if someone does care to correct me did she leave Rooster Country several years to go to California becasue of family and that she got passed over for the morning show on Rooster Country when Shotgun who was not even their as long got the promotion instead? Dixie go and kick Clear Channel's butt!
3. They take request anytime (WQIK and Rooster don't allow that).
4. They have more contest than WQIK and Rooster
5. They give better weather forecast (Forget CBS 47 weather on WQIK and Rooster).
6. Better traffic updates (I would take live local traffic before the traffic that Clear Channel provides out of Orlando. That is not good at all to send traffic from Jacksonville down to Orlando just to send it back to Jacksonville. Does that make sense?
7. More music in the morining!
8. Celebs calling every Thursday (heck does WQIK and Rooster get that?)
Heck this station is good. If you want to add more good please leave it. If it is bad than leave it. This may just become Renda's cash cow over Lite 96.1. Now that would be different. I would see some marketing coming soon by the way.
