99.9 HANK-FM Tallahassee

99.9 FM Tallahassee has been jockless for a long time I dont hear any DJ's on the fm dail it all the comptumer do the work. Has 99.9 HANK-FM has any DJ's and do u think HANK-FM will stay longer for Tallahassee or will 99.9 will change again sometime down the road?? The music has been 60's 70's and 80's type no 90's and 00's as they 1st started HANK-FM.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by Louis_009 on 02/23/06 01:32 AM.</FONT></P>

I agree, they seem to be mostly jockless, although a couple of months ago I did hear a live voice on around 5:00 in the afternoon.

99.9 is one of those frequencies where nothing seems to last. It's been jazz, country, 70s, oldies, etc. etc. since going on the air in the early 90s.

They don't need currents, since at least two other stations in the market play them. HANK is as close to anything remotely resembling oldies as you can get.

HANK-FM, as has been mentioned on this board previously, has new owners who are making changes, one station at a time, in a 4 station cluster. HANK is not the poorest performer in the cluster, so if anything changes, I'd expect it to be U-106.1. At least I would, and I have been in the biz, and managed stations, for a long time. They won't change HANK this quickly.<P ID="signature">______________
