99.9 Lawrence pirate to 99.1

http://www.fybush.com/nerw.html notes that Lawrence pirate la voz da fe has moved from 99.9...as a translator has debuted on that freq--W260AS, // WMSJ Freeport ME. The
"pirata" (pirate in Spanish, acc. to freetranslation.com!) is now at 99.1--and radio-locator's map says that Lawrence is within WPLM-FM's fringe area. Not sure if anyone will complain (how strong is the signal up that way anyway? but allegedly WPLM-FM is supposed to reach up there.

How nice of the pirate to shift frequencies so a legit translator can actually service its COL! The WMSJ
translator broadcasts from Haverhill (WXRV's stick) but couldn't reach Lawrence when la pirata was on.
But bad news for any Haverhill/Lawrence fans of easy ninety-nine...point...onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnne....

WPLM's signal has been hurting up in that area ever since 99.5 turned their IBOC on. Most stations running IBOC only have hash on the first adjacent frequency, but for some reason, 99.5's can be heard from at least 98.7 through 100.3.

Is there any sign of 99.1 WNNH in Henniker, NH in Lawrence, or a little north towards Methuen? I know WNNH's signal is "not what it used to be" when they broadcast from the top of Pat's Peak, but since they moved the antenna a little towards the south and east towards Concord, NH, I was wondering if that brought their signal closer to the Mass Border.

I don't know about recently, but I remember back when I worked in Manchester, NH in 1990, WNNH wasn't even a great signal there. It was spotty, and you could hear patches of WPLM bubbling under it even there! When you were heading south on 93 through Derry, WPLM and WNNH were in a battle, and there was no trace of WNNH left by the Massachusetts line. WPLM ate it up by the border.

There is an area in Rhode Island and Connecticut where WPLM and WPLR battle it out too....

I was on I-93 in Stoneham yesterday and WPLM was coming in. I presume, at least on a half decent
car radio, that the signal would make it up to Lawrence ...though the pirate would over-ride them
_there_. (I did pick up that pirate when it was at 99.9, over in N. Reading)
