Maybe you should explain the trend came out and X was RIGHT below a 2 share.
Project was up some...but the Buzz info was there so I'm not sure how to read into that. The "Bull" held its own against "Lite" 12+
Do you have the break down of all demos? I'd like to know who did well in morning drive.

The Answer is NO - because they don't care about 12+ numbers. Amazing how no one on this board gets that.

It's just a trend, but 99X did fairly well with 18-34 - beating their competition. I was told briefly of the numbers, but do not have the breakdown... maybe Rodney can post them.

Stations in trouble in all breakdowns... STAR 94, and Dave FM - ouch!

Yes, I grasp that the 12+ is a vanity number. But lets be realistic. When you can't pull a 2 share 12+ you probably arent in the top 5 of your target either. And they arent. And won't be. Ever.

i don't have a particular problem with 99X nor any radio station. However, I do find it quite telling about your bias that you veiled the #'s to make them see more impressive. #2 mornings sounds great! Oh, wait that's non-ethnic. #5 mornings is quite impressive...until you realize that 2 of their competitors dont have morning shows (cuz you really can't count Dave, awright). My original post was to point out how far they've fallen when they were once considered one of the premier Alt. stations in the country. I think Atlanta radio types thought it to be the finest station in the country. Apparently not so much because KROQ has for all intents and purposes held its ground in these down times and even the crappy little Buzz was beating them. So I think it's quite poignant to point out that they cannot seem to crawl over a 1.9 12+. Not X bashing. Just trying to point it all out.

While it's true that Leslie is a drag on that whole station, to be fair, the way Arbitron is sampling 18-34s these days, any station that targets them is automatically as much as a 2-share disadvantage for the entire book. In reality, 99X has closer to a 4-share. The Spanish and Black stations are way oversampled in Atlanta.
