Is that good coverage for the metro area? And is it consistent, I don’t live in Atlanta but know the topography is hilly to mountains
No, not nearly the coverage that the map indicates. I'm less than 20 miles due North of the transmitter. Somewhat staticky and HD goes in and out as I drive around. 100kw WSSL in Greenville is a factor, especially in the NW.Is that good coverage for the metro area? On heavy tropo mornings, WSSL completely takes over the 100.5 signal out here in Loganville. Is that good coverage for the metro area? And is it consistent, I don’t live in Atlanta but know the topography is hilly to mountains
wwwqh2.tunegenie.com is also working again. The commercial on the streams seem to start at different times. Not sure if they're running them seperately.Music log on TuneGenie is working again.
I'm surprised by the amount of 80s music and the lack of post-1999 music.
Overall, a decent playlist. I don't like it as much as 91X but do prefer it to Indy 103.

It’s intentional. You can stream the station and call it up on Alexa as “99X”. That it’s on 100.5 is indicative of how irrelevant accuracy in frequency branding is becoming in radio. Especially with reviving a heritage brand. Is it just me, but 100.5 seems quite a distance from "99" anything
Regarding signal to the west. I live in Bremen and travel too and from Alpharetta. I start losing the HD signal at about Villa Rica. I start losing the 100.5 to interference at Bremen but it’s still listenable. Once I get to Tallapoosa, it’s gone. Ironically, the 100K watt Atlanta stations don’t get much further out than that but it’s much more sudden vs 100.5 which is a more gradual. Signal is impressive for the power.
They have several streams. The one that sounds the best to me is the one that plays on Rock 100.5 On Air Playlist in a mobile browser. On WIFI. Really good quality on that one. It sounds lower quality on a desktop computer. I believe one is AAC and the other is MP3.Did they use a stream encoder from the 90s too? I want to listen but the only option on the TuneIn app is 32kbps MP3. Sounds awful.

Did you mean the NE? Sometimes WSSL starts interfering as you go up I-85 around 316. AsNo, not nearly the coverage that the map indicates. I'm less than 20 miles due North of the transmitter. Thanks for the link. It definitely seems to be a stronger foundation for Classic Alternative than 91X and Indy 103.3 are.Music log on TuneGenie is working again.

Yeah, I’ve been playing it at work through a Bluetooth speaker via the browser link, but just threw it on via the iHeartRadio app on my Roku TV and it sounds better via the app; some of the songs sounded pitched down via the browser link, even when playing it through other devices. They have several streams. It probably sounds decent enough on iHeart. There’s 2 stations to choose from. The WWWQ HD2 stream (99X) and the WNNX stream (100.5) At least for now.
I think it detects your device and connection.

98.9 W255CJ is now a translator for 100.5 WNNX.What will they do with 98.9?
