99X This Morning

I guess 99X decided that since it's Passover, they would let Jimmy play the role of Elijah.

When Axel came on at 6 this morning, he announced a member of the morning show was "going down," and that he would have details in a couple of minutes. About 3 minutes later, he repeated that and said he would have details at 6:30. At about 6:30, Axel said a member of the morning show was "going down in order to change his life," and that he would have that person on the air in a "couple of minutes."

I listened until about 7, when I had to go into the gym for an appointment, and nothing more was said about it up until then. I listened on the way home, and Axel said nothing more about it. But he still referred to the morning cast as "Toucher, Jimmy and Leslie."

So did this conversation with Jimmy ever take place?

Maybe he was talking about Wally? Toucher, Jimmy and Leslie or Axel, Jimmy and Leslie?

You're right. It could have been Wally. His laugh--all that we've heard from him in recent days--was missing this morning.
