I would improve 1 thing... play the variety of music that they used to play in the 90's - Tony Bennett, The Cranberries, Squirrel Nut Zippers, David Bowie, etc... and mix it up with the currents. The mix of genres was what made 99x so great.
 
I would tell them to continue to do what they are doing. The morning show is great. Everything about the station is beautiful to the ear. Of course I wouldn't mention that I work for a rival station.
 
I agree with the 90's comment.
Check out 94.9 The Sound in Cincinnati, Radio 104.5 in Philly, and other stations that are copying their approach.
 
The comment about mixing the 90's with the currents was a good idea and X should listen. But most people I know are really against their morning show and some say it's the worst morning show is the station's history. I think they should give Leslie Fram and producer Mark the axe. I think they should make Axel the PD and give the morning show to Jenners and Seabass and toss in Dekker. Tim Andrews should produce it. Put Demery somewhere else, like where the listeners can't see how boring he is.
 
The station needs some work. Getting rid of Fram would allow a PD from this century to improve on whats lacking, like the morning show and the music.

Putting Sean back in afternoon drive could be a really good move. I think Axel and Leslie was the worst morning show in the history of the station. I stopped listeining right after Toucher left and started again when Sean came back.
 
How Producer Mark gets more airtime than Andrews tells me how clueless they are. Jenners, Dekker and Andrews in the morning would be better. At least they would be close to the demo.
 
Ill start by saying, I like the Morning X, it makes me laugh. But how can you say Mark is the problem? He makes me laugh a lot more than Sean. At least Mark can relate to the audience and is in the same age demo. And why is everyone here so high on Tim? Im sure he is a good guy, but I never heard anthing that would make him the best morning co-host ever. Outside of Sean, the show is pretty good.
 
Well Tim Andrews was the producer for the Regular Guys on the late 96Rock. And him producing a show with Jenners and Dekker would be awesome and as mentioned before it would be close to the X demo. Could be the best thing to happen to X since Toucher. Really do not see why X does not try to lure the Toucher and Rich show from Boston to Atlanta. I think Axel as the PD could work. Maybe do it like this
Mornings: Jenner, Dekker, and Andrews
Midday: Sean Demmery
Afternoon: Toucher and Rich with Crash Clark
Nights:Axel
Weekends: Uh...I don't know...Matt C and Lewis and maybe Steve Craig. Keep Matt Jones where he's at.

knox, featuring murph dawg and maverick (your lame-name noon time show)
tom hughes & the 97.1 the river robot (afternoons)
mr. bill & dekker (nights)

overnights can be filled, hourly, with 5% of clear channel's voice-tracked atlanta talent (including the mexicans)

You can't be serious? Keep Knox away from X, let Project keep Atlanta's worst DJ. If Project was smart they would ditch him as well.
