A Barry, Barry Michelle Day On KFYI

The Nurse and I caught the talk trifecta Friday morning on KFWhyEye. Barry Young, Barry Markson and Michelle Larson flip-flopping once again on what to do with that pesky dictator in Syria. Making a 180 degree shift from the previous day, this morning's show was the Barrack Hussein Bush mutual admiration society on 5~Fifty. No listener calls were taken because the station's audience is convinced TNBO is off his rocker, and who needs to hear that? These guys were flippin' faster than a McDonalds at lunchtime. And once again Michelle was there to nod her head, laugh and agree with whatever the two Barry's said.

Radio talkers are in a pickle. I heard some of the 1480 lib talkers do a weather vane routine, as well. Some of the left ones are now pro-war, some of the right ones are anti-war. Reminds me of Nafta when limbaugh sided with Clinton, and Pat Buchanan sided with Jerry Brown, etc. The way Kfwhyeye is threading the needle is, "well we should do something, but Obama is weak and well, if we do something, it will not be any good because well Obama is weak, blah blah...." Broomhead has been doing that tap dance as well. Add to the mess, some of the favored Congress critters, like Matt Salmon (trying to swim up stream?) are opposing McCain, and who knows what Flake is doing? And I noticed the Dem AZ Reps are in a bad spot as well. To War or Not to War, that is the question....

That's because this has polarized both parties down non-party fault lines. This and the NSA/Snowden issue are making for some unlikely alliances.

Yup, and if McCain and some of the Repub Congress people are at odds, since the Barry Young interview method is to agree with everyone he interviews, he has to agree with one politician one day and another the next. Of course he can always not come in if sitting on the fence become to embarrassing or painful. "Think like the media?" Well at least the "media" (which you are part of) has a point of view, Barry.
