Just before his recent death, longtime WBZ-1030 Boston personality Dave Maynard wrote a memoir called The Dave Maynard Spin, which partly covers his career, but more deals with the interesting and famous people he met during his long career in radio.

For those in Boston who grew up listening to him, this is a "must-read" book.

Having read it myself, I would recommend it.
