A Breeze?

Where would they put it on the Atlanta dial?

At some point putting these signals on HD subchannels will start to make more sense. Not sure if we're there yet...that's a question for those more in the know.

That’s great you can find out, I cannot figure it out. Oh well, gotta accept the gifts I do have! Anyways wherever the Breeze blows through, I hope it’s a success.

Ironically/interestingly enough...both 96.7 and 105.7 (WBZW & WBZY) have already had the letters "BZ" in their respective call signs. BZ = "Breeze"?

94.9 is a FCC class C1, (78kw @ 1083) 96.1 is am FCC class C0 (97kw @ 1083) same tower. I believe they both are on the same antenna. Not much difference to the average listener but around a 20% increase of power will have a little better coverage on paper so iHeart most likely has all it's HD 2,3 etc. on the bigger signal. Every little bit helps.
 
It appears that an iHM station in Norfolk, VA, at 105.3 FM has gone Christmas which only indicates an imminent flip is coming.

So, that is to say- it doesn’t appear that The Breeze will be blowing through Atlanta. At least not for now.
 
The perception of Atlanta is that it is a young and Black market. The numbers bear out on the latter (relatively speaking), not sure about the former.

If you enter "black mecca cities" in your search engine, after NYC-Harlem, Atlanta usually shows up. Houston can be considered one too according to Wikipedia.

What in the world is a "Black mecca city"? Here's actual tangible data such as the population of each radio market with breakdowns by Black and Hispanic populations. Figure out the percentage and you have your answer.

I guess the "average non black" would not have heard the term unless they spend way too much time figuring out how to teach AI so it can interpret average income within 2 to 5 miles from census estimates for "retail and restaurant" sites for lender's due diligence for SBA lending.

Wikipedia has a surprisingly good explanation.
