A Change To Report (Dublin and Central Georgia Area)

According to the other site WQIL 101.3 FM is now catering to Smash Hits from the 80s and 90s. The CCM format has been dropped due to lack of ad support.

Interesting...my friend's station in southern Iowa had been Southern Gospel for years, so he kept the format going when he took ownership. It wasn't a huge biller but with low overhead it cash flowed well. One by one the sponsors disappeared. They were conditioned to think it was a donation from the previous ownership, which operated as though it were a non-comm. So a similar format to WQIL will be installed in the week or so.

Broomfield?

This isn't the first example of a station dumping a religious format for secular programming and certainly won't be the last. Ultimately, Christian or not, you'll go with what makes you money when you have to feed yourself off of your radio station.

It said 80s and 90s but now it says 80s to today. Sounds more adult rock from the 80s and 90s by what I have heard so far. Imaging sounds pretty good but its heavy with the 80s though I'm assuming they may add modern (post 2000) stuff??? Can't tell if this is off satellite or local automation.
