A couple programming thoughts

I've noticed that KASW has stopped airing a full hour of "The Simpsons" from 10-11, and replaced the 10:30pm episode with "South Park." This doesn't make any sense as I thought that the Simpsons reruns were doing well for the station, unless they can't afford to air another episode each night anymore or else their contract to air the show is running out soon.

Also, I've noticed for the past couple weeks that KPHO is running their unusually early replay of their late news five minutes over schedule, therefore delaying the start of Craig Ferguson's show. It's no big deal with a DVR except that I miss the last few minutes of the program. How about running the show in schedule with other CBS affiliates - maybe they may even beat Jimmy Fallon head-to-head and get classier advertisers!

Well all I like South Park but not as much as the Simpsons.....I hope the Simpsons go back to an hour but if they dont...oh well, Ill watch Cheers on AZ-TV
