Anything is better than the Hillbilly Finance show, and Beck is just on planet Kolob these days, Savage is an angry white guy (zzzzz).

Joe was OK, but he did pull the usual talk radio schtick (I'm just like you!, You need to be angry (and if you aren't, I'll make crap up to make you angry), and, its just us, the normal ones against all the bad guys.

Whatever, just another talk radio hack, got a dime? Get 12 of them.

Perhaps the new Saturday "Wheel of Hosts" lineup will give us a replacement for Dave Ramsey on KT'R. Six back to back hours a day is cruel and unusual punishment. We run a tight ship here at the Buckeye Media Hut, but we suspect Cap'n Dave is a real task master at his Financial Piece Plaza

ANYTHING has got to be better than KTAR FMs daytime lineup.
Bruce St. James sounds like a studdering kid that suffers from ADD.
The Beth & Bill wannabees at noon are terrible.
Heckle & Jeckle at 3pm are over opinionated boobs that seem to always try to talkover the other. It gets old real quick. (both need to go learn a skill & get real jobs)

I think Preston Westmorland would be a step up.

...back to topic: Will the Evil One resurface in Phoenix? Since departing KT'R, their talent bill has gone straight up with the addition of Chuck 'n the Chick. And over at KFWhyEye, there's only two local shifts and they aren't going to replace either of those talkers. Seems like a Crummey situation all around!

He's needed here, no doubt! But I'm wondering if ChickBoss will offer him something in DC.

Most people on this board know that Joe Crummey had been hired away by then-WABC program director Laurie Cantillo, a KFYI alum. Crummey had hosted the only daily local program on WABC. I know, hard to believe in Market No. 1 that this is fathomable.

So it's only a coincidence that WABC does away with Crummey weeks after Cantillo (on her own volition) leaves the station. And what's WABC's answer? Geraldo - someone who will likely be syndicated just like everybody else on the WABC roster: Imus, Rush, Hannity, Levin, Batchelor, even the overnight "Red Eye" show.

Speaking of Mr. Westmoreland, Preston was interviewed by KTAR/Jim Cross regarding the ASU student who was stranded in her car for 9 days before found. Preston gave his opinion, from being a pilot, what should a person do if they have a similar situation. I've also seen/heard Westmoreland discuss real estate stories.
