Might have somethin' to do with the abundance of wealthy old farts and the scarcity of bubbas in these here parts. Plus all bidniss radio does NOT need no stinkin' ratings. It's all in the marketing and KFuNN knows how to do it - their Financial Fest every November packs 'em in http://www.financialfest.com We'd have to check with the Old Gringo, but to our four ears their 22kw beats KOY's 1kw in the Valley. During the winter months, the Illegal Power Aliens power up well before local sunrise so 15~Ten can be heard. ¡Si, Se Puede!, indeed.

What any of this has to do with Lumberyard 14~Forty is beyond the pay grade of Nurse Jeff and me. No way Gumpdusky or Mother Hubbard would have gone all bidniss with the Goldmine.

Apparently in order to have threads show up as "subscribed" which we'd been subscribed to for years, you have to actually post in them again (that, or I'm more confused by the new layout than I think I am, which is considerably). I don't always post to the Lamptimer thread, but when I do, I have a reason...and a Dos Equis.

In the FAQ section at the top of the page you can find out all about subscriptions and many other features of the new platform. The information you're looking for is in the eleventh section about 3/4 of the way down the page.

We appreciate everyones patience as we work through the transition. If you have any other questions, please post on Ask Radio Discussions, or shoot us an email at [email protected]. Thanks for maintaining the integrity of this long-running Lamptimer thread by directing other concerns to the above locations. Thanks!

There's ballots out at some Valley restaurants and other business for the Phoenix New Times Best Of... KAZG is listed under "Best Oldies Radio Station." Show the Lumberyard some love! (also KISS-FM is listed under the category...???) :S
