A different countdown show on Q104, and...

... this one is infinitely inferior to "Randy Jackson's Hit List", which is the best countdown show not hosted by Casey Kasem.
In it's place was a countdown show hosted by the infinitely inferior Perez Hilton. This guy is not nearly as sophisticated a host as Randy Jackson is, in fact he plain out sucks. This countdown show has an inferior concept tied to it as well. Based on what was said, it's supposedly based on listeners emailing in. The best countdowns are based on sales and charts from legitimate sources such as Billboard Magazine. Additionally, the production values are those of CHR's, and therefore doesn't really fit WQAL. I hope this is one time thing ... a regrettable mistake. Many months ago "The Hit List" wasn't on on one Sunday, but came back the following week. I want to be able to say that I'm a Q104 listener, not a Q1-0Sucks former listener.

Perez is one of those wastes of human debris that became famous by being famous. Or more accurately, "reporting" (i.e., insulting and borderline slandering) on the famous on his blog. At least he didn't come from the cesspool of reality TV, though. But that's not saying much.

I'm under the impression that Citadel Media (the former ABC Radio) distributes the program... I guess it's been around for over a year.
