Just so i know you are not completely lost please tell me how 92.5 would have any relation or effect on 88.1Also ever since that new 92.5 came on the air 88.1 is slightly stronger now
It doesn’t. It’s just whenever I noticed it. I can now regularly hear it weakly in Conroe when I couldn’t before.Just so i know you are not completely lost please tell me how 92.5 would have any relation or effect on 88.1
Are you talking about 88.1 RADIO ALELUYA? Maybe it was due to tropo tunnel cause today on my ride home on Rankin it sounded as bad as it always has.It doesn’t. It’s just whenever I noticed it. I can now regularly hear it weakly in Conroe when I couldn’t before.
Yeah. For the past few days I’ve been able to hear it but no other tropos station. Maybe I’ve just gotten luckyAre you talking about 88.1 RADIO ALELUYA? Maybe it was due to tropo tunnel cause today on my ride home on Rankin it sounded as bad as it always has.
I think they already started to broadcast, I have noticed them sounding way better in The Heights. All though today they’re completely off the air, didn’t switch to 106.9 HD3 to see if they were on air there.K269GT filed a modification to broadcast from downtown at 99 watts
They are still on KHPT HD3I think they already started to broadcast, I have noticed them sounding way better in The Heights. All though today they’re completely off the air, didn’t switch to 106.9 HD3 to see if they were on air there.
I meant like at this moment since the translator was off the air. They are still on KHPT HD3
I never understood how that translator is allowed with KKHT. I can only assume there’s a lot of interference in that areaK264CN (Radio Aleluya) has been off the air for two weeks.
Yes, it is a mess. The 100.7 translator was one of those put in place by consulting engineers who are book smart but street stupid. They think that a signal completely disappears when it drops from 60 to 59 dBu, and that a 60 dBu contour is a perfect circle.😣😖I never understood how that translator is allowed with KKHT. I can only assume there’s a lot of interference in that area
Makes me think of the 106.5 translator licensed in NE Conroe that hasn’t gone on the air. I can get KOVE with RDS when I drove by their tower siteSimilar situation happened a few years ago on 97.5 in NW Harris County.
Yes, there WAS!I never understood how that translator is allowed with KKHT. I can only assume there’s a lot of interference in that area
Considering KONO-FM is overriding KLOL in the Heights this evening, I'm not surprised one bit at your observation. This early Spring warm weather is causing some interesting catches around the coast.I thought it’s interesting but I was able to confirm the KHJK translator in Conroe does receive it over the air. Tropos was really strong this morning and I was getting the Air1 in Corpus Christi KXAI with RDS. KXAI and KHJK are out of sync by a split second and I could hear them echoing on the translator and it didn’t have RDS then.
Props to KHCB for having KHML and KHVT perfectly in sync besides the legal ID.
I've checked that translator whenever tropos was strong in the area. Like when KVIL was really strong but it does a great job of only getting KHJK. I've had KONO's HD over KLOL before. But tonight I didn't hear KONO but I did hear KAJN over KLTN and I also heard WLMG out of New Orleans before San Antonio started coming in.Considering KONO-FM is overriding KLOL in the Heights this evening, I'm not surprised one bit at your observation.
