A Few Questions on WRNQ Soft Rock 92.1 FM

I noticed WRNQ's website is no longer available. Anyone know if the station is still streaming live ? Also Van Richie use to work on WRNQ, was wondering where he's working today ? I always thought he was a good DJ.

Van was in florida but has since moved back to POK and does sales for cheap channel...I also understand that he's working on a sequel for his double platinum Hit, Christmas in Poughkeepsie...wow can't wait for that one :D Van also reports that Cheap channel in Florida doesn't know what they are doing. Hmmmm.....back to Pok??? go figure...BABE>>>

Yea ,I remember him 'singing' on a float during a Parade in Hyde Park. He seemed under the delusion he sounded good, I thought he was making a fool of himself and he shouldn't quit his day job.

I have the 45 of "Christmas in Poughkeepsie" by Van Ritschie.

Van is living in florida. He remains as the voice guy for Cruisin' 93.5. He is also the official voice on The Golf Channel. Teaches radio at a college down there, and is the voice on many national commercials.

I have to say that I hear Van's voice on many spots -both radio and TV- here in the NYC area. I worked with him for a short time at Q-92. He certainly was the big cheese there when I was doing evenings.

Hi Rick- Al Bruno and I were talking and wondering where you wound up, good to see you doing something in broadcasting that actually pays!! Used to call you at Q-92 when you worked there evenings. Still doing some part time morning drive fill in locally. Your advice at that time was truly appreciated!! Cheers!!!
