any of the 11 Cleveland AM and FM stations that are supposedly available to this moment

I don't think that needs to be a deal-breaker for them. K96 is a sorta Lorain County station, but it's first and foremost a Vacationland station. Maybe it could be a move-in to the Cleveland market in the future, but it's audience is close to nil. Moreover, ELB's WLKR-FM/95.3 Norwalk still trots along with a classic-heavy AAA format - mostly programmed via DG in spite of a locally-based DJ lineup. And while it's a non-factor in Lorain County (due to WFHM/95.5; such protection obliterates WLKR's signal east of Amherst), that didn't stop 107.3 from going with their own, totally different AAA.

The chances of that happening are slim and none (and Slim just left town).
ZAK is an Urban AC/R&B institution, and the crown jewel of Radio One's Cleveland cluster. No way do they screw with it.
The Lake is a "flavor of the month" format, and 106.5 will flip before 93.1 ever does (barring an ownership change).
