A Few Things About WNNJ

103.7 WNNJ's website has the new design, but WSUS and WNNJ AM don't yet. Also, James Greene is now on late nights 1am-5:30, Ken O'Brien has taken over mornings along with Heather, and Rob Ryan is now on 3-8pm. But I have a question. What does this mean for the 3-7 time slot at 1360, since Rob is on that time? Will someone else take over?<P ID="signature">______________

I'm thinking not much...you'll see the 5 o'clock trivia thing end since they are mostly Voice Tracked on WNNJ-AM. Rob's shift is mostly as well. He will pop on "LIVE" to do the giveaways and what not and then pop it back into Automation. I do believe that only Weekday Mornings and Weekends are the only "LIVE" shifts. Ryan-on-the-radio (interesting name...never really understood that one...but hey!) and Rick Davis are entirely VT'd too. I would venture to say that Rob Ryan will be doing both stations...

Actually WNNJ AM is live 5:30 till 10 AM with Max Knikle. Ryan Dreebe is voicetracked from 10 AM to 3 PM on WNNJ Oldies 1360. Ryan Dreebe is actually live on WHCY Max 106.3 a CHR/Rock station from 7 PM to Midnight. James Green is live from 3 to 7 PM on WNNJ Oldies 1360 while voicetracked on Overnights on Classic Rock 103-7 WNNJ FM. "Rick Davis" is voicetracked from 7 to Midnight on Oldies 1360 WNNJ while he is live mornings on WSUS known there as "Steve Andrews" as he has been for over 20 years. So most of the non morning airpeople do a live shift on one station while voicetracking on another. Trish Davis does weekends on Classic Rock WNNJ FM while voicetracking middays on WHCY.

So yes people indeed are doing double stations. WNNJ AM has a couple live weekend shifts with Lou Guru. All the stations have a couple live weekend shifts. WNNJ FM is live from 6 AM to 7 PM. WSUS is live mornings 5-10 and afternoons from 3 to 7 and severalk weekend shifts. WNNJ AM was mentioned before. WHCY though is live from 2 PM to 10 PM weekdays and several weekend shifts. Middays is voicetracked and mornings is imported Elvis's Z Morning Zoo.
