As I read the drivel that flows from this posting site - I am amazed at the miss-informed wrong information that is posted as the truth - I can assure you if you see my postings it is TRUE...and not just the meadering grumblings of disgruntled WANT-A-BEES and people who think they know - A BIT OF ADVICE - read this site carefully - it is 90% crap - 10% truth

It's not like we're handing out financial or legal advice in here. It's just a bunch of people who love radio, talking about radio.

If you see some mis-information being posted, feel free to reply and correct it. But when you post a random, off-the-wall complaint like this, all we hear is  PISS AND MOAN, PISS AND MOAN.

Now, lets take this thread to TIO.....
 
lazy j...your name says it all.

rumors and untruths in radio...especially those concerning those who work in it....can have devastating effects on people. if you have been in radio for any length of time...you know that radio management doesnt take time to seek the truth...they hear a rumor...take it as the truth...and fire people. let's face it...radio management probably knows less about radio that anyone else involved.

bigdan....you're right on the money....FACTS are always better....problem is....they ain't as sexy as a nice rumor.

Nothing says hypocrite like assuring people you speak the truth, and following it with a percentage that you simply pulled out of your ass.
I'm sorry if you got burned by a bad manager, but I doubt that you can specifically pin-point an incident where a "rumor" from Radio-Info got someone fired. Come on... Speak some truth.... give specifics!

I see you have put in years of earning your stripes in the business.

I also see that the ink is still wet on your membership as a posting-member of Radio-Info.

Over time your skin will get a bit tougher.

Yes, some of us who post messages are... are... wackadoodles! But as someone who left the state for greener pastures years ago, I still fondly refer to Arkansas as home... and compared to some of the other states and cities that have forums ... the Arkansas people who post here don't embarrass me..... often.
