The $500 million is the total budget for his show - everyone he hires gets paid out of that money, so basically it's up to him how much of it he wants to keep for himself. Anyone want to guess what he's paying Robin, Gary, Fred and the rest who have been with him since the beginning - now that he is directly determining their salaries for the first time?
