To the poster who put some links out from some "air checks" (I think that is what they are called) from KOAI back in the day when they were on 106.1 FM.

There were only four of them, but I have played them over and over and over !!

It was a very cold day in either December or January when these broadcast were made. I think it was a Sunday. My gosh, they played some very cool stuff back then. Their music playlist was so much better when The Oasis first came on the air. When they went to 107.5, it just wasn't the same.

I'm listening to a Fattburger song right now. AWESOME !!

edit. It was Jan. 19, 1991. Wow !!
 
Hopefully somebody will post some more links with more air checks? Gosh I miss that station, even after they changed the format when then moved to 107.5
