A Jock's Show Prep Sheets

I've been doing Afternoons on Hits 106 KLMI Laramie, WY for nearly 7 years, did it locally for 2 years and now I VT it from Alaska for the last 5 years. From day 1, I created a "prep sheet" for each days show.

I do a combo of funny bits, promoting station stuff and talking about local events. I'm on 3 to 7pm with 5 breaks per hour and each break is laid out on my sheet. And at least one a show, I toss out whats on the prep sheet and share what random, but moderately timely random thought popped into my head.

Some breaks have what looks like legit commercial copy there.. but I often ad-lib what's written.. it's just there so I have all the important details and don't suffer from brain freeze. Some breaks just have "promote county5.com for local news" or "promote non profit events mentioned on radio and web" and I REALLY ad lib those each time.

I thought I'd share one of my recent prep sheets, maybe this will help someone.. I dunno. Here it is at the link below
