A Jones Smooth Jazz Tribute Show

i have it on pretty good authority that a small college radio station that features a lot of smooth jazz programming is running a jones smooth jazz tribute show of sorts tomorrow (or today ... depending on when you read this) ... Wednesday, August 20. i'm not sure the total accuracy of this, as it is one of those deals where it's a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend who told me this who is indirectly associated with the station, but the chain of contacts seems pretty reliable. the time i was told was 3 to 5 p.m. eastern time Wednesday. i'm at the school now visiting an old colleague and jumped online to check my e-mail, and from looking at the station's website schedule, it shows a smooth jazz show that regularly runs at that time. by the way, the station as a whole is pretty unique. it's summertime so obviously there are very few students on air, but their automated filler format seems to be a 50/50 mix of smooth jazz and oldies ... i've heard elvis presley back to back with "elegance on the catwalk." check it out. and i hope i have that piece of information correct because i know there's lots of sad jones fans on here (including myself) so i'm interested to hear the show. the website is http://kur.kutztown.edu/ by the way, the backup stream seems the most reliable way to listen. the other streams come and go.
