From 9am-6pm Thanksgiving Day, KTLA-5 will reintroduce a former holiday mainstay. Anyone up for a mini Twilight Zone marathon? KTLA is and it's going down this Thursday.
9:00 AM The Twilight Zone "Time Enough at Last"
9:30 AM The Twilight Zone "A Kind of Stopwatch"
10:00 AM The Twilight Zone "A Penny for Your Thoughts"
10:30 AM The Twilight Zone "Nick of Time"
11:00 AM The Twilight Zone "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up"
11:30 AM The Twilight Zone "Mr. Dingle, the Strong"
12:00 PM The Twilight Zone "The Little People"
12:30 PM The Twilight Zone "The Odyssey of Flight 33"
1:00 PM The Twilight Zone "In His Image"
2:00 PM The Twilight Zone "The Mighty Casey"
2:30 PM The Twilight Zone "I Sing the Body Electric"
3:00 PM The Twilight Zone "Long Distance Call"
3:30 PM The Twilight Zone "Little Girl Lost"
4:00 PM The Twilight Zone "Living Doll"
4:30 PM The Twilight Zone "The Dummy"
5:00 PM The Twilight Zone "The Trade-ins"
5:30 PM The Twilight Zone "The Eye of the Beholder"
I always figured since TZ got finally released from cable exclusivity a couple of years ago and began regularly appearing on cheapo KDOC-56 that KTLA would bring the marathon back. The list seems to contain just about all the fan favorites too or rather there isn't a stinker in the bunch. The biggest glaring omission to me personally would be "An Obsolete Man" but there really isn't an episode up there that doesn't deliver on some classic Serling storytelling.
Perhaps, it's the pre-cable era boy in me that gets a little nostalgic to witness KTLA going back to it's historical roots. First, the reappearance of the classic "5" channel logo and now this. If Tom Hatten were to return for a Family Film Marathon I might actually do a backflip.
