Today, Thursday 01/29/2026 at around 5:30 pm, "Kool Kat Oldies" WDLW 1380 AM played the full version of "What'd I Say" by Ray Charles. That song was a hit in 1959. This is worth noting as the word came out a while ago that WDLW would play music from the mid 1960s through, I think, some of the 1980s.

people take things so literally. Keep on rockin Gary. Best way to play something outside the norm is to "frame" it, either with imaging or a jock.
