......A Lawnmower!!!!

The one formally known as Irondequoit Dodge, now Irondequoit Suzuki. You know, it used to be with; " Ah mya boys, Vinnie and Angelo". :D

Similar commercial running in Syracuse a different Suzuki dealership here.

If you haven't seen it, basically it brags about how you can get a Suzuki for $159 a month.
Then they ask "What kind of a Honda can you get for $159?" and they show a picture of a lawnmower with a Honda logo slapped across the side.

Kinda funny the first time, not so much after that. But at least it's not on the air here as much as the Hugeman is, so the annoyance factor isn't really that high here.

Erm, finally saw it this evening here. BTW I didn't think the Vinnie was bad, but they were goofy with the mini-skirt sales assistant.

But at least it's not on the air here as much as the Hugeman is, so the annoyance factor isn't really that high here.

It's a good thing too; one day Fucillo appeared on my screen and I rushed to change the channel. Well, he was on the channel I flipped too! ACK!

Just last night I saw two back to back commericals for Patrick, one selling Jeep, the other selling Pontiac!

I cannot think of one commercial block I have ever seen that did not include an advertisement for a car dealership or company.

Above all other products... makes you wonder just how much cheaper we could be buying new cars for, if they didn't spend so much on advertising.

And many times, they're co-ops... the manufacturer pays a certain percentage, and the local dealer covers the rest. So when we buy new cars, not only is some of the dealer's cut going to ads, some of the factory's cut is going to those same ads. Not to mention the money the manufacturers spend on national ads... for network TV, magazines, etc.
