A Legend Returns....

All I can say is a legend returns to the airwaves for a one shift appearance on Saturday July 14th at 3pm....

It is not Hollywood (cause I said legend....just kidding John), more details to come

I could be off base with this...but I am putting my money on Grooves. Cause that's Arts Fest Weekend right? Am I close??? Will you even say?

Obviously, Hoo Hoo is honored to be listed in the arena of radio legends.
Unfortunately, I normally do not accept invitations after the fourth of July because of my history of hospitilazations due to haphazard handling of fireworks.
So, it's not me.

yeah, a legend in his own mind.
Aw come on...let's not short-change the guy. Grooves left State College for Louisiana (I think) and was only there a short while before landing in Washington DC. I doubt many of us on here have had the honor of hitting the airwaves in a market even half that size so clearly he must be doing something right. I kinda liked the guy and honestly, his #'s were pretty darn good too. (not that we believe in numbers mind you....LOL)

In his defense, I will say that he wasn't the one that brought his name up as the possible "legend". In any event, he doesn't qualify for that label, regardless of his accomplishments someplace else.

Ok...I'll give you that. But he still has a career going at the moment, that some of us would love to have. In a different time....I would have loved to have a run like that. But once we radio folk marry, have kids and settle down...its becomes pretty clear what should be most important in life and a radio paycheck doesn't seem to cover that anymore LOL

Boo Hoo, I can't listen to see who because G101 does not penetrate Pittsburgh. :( :(
