A legitimate question about OEDIPUS: Why hasn't he bounced back?

If you were playing monopoly Towerbuzz (today it's Towerbuzz, tomorrow it's Brooklyndon1041, the handles never end), "Do not pass Go, Do Not Collect your ex-WBCN unemployment check. GO right to the Rathskellar bathroom and pick the ex-program director up off the floor.


How humiliating. Those were the days in the 70s. Mr. Program Director was drug testing and ended up on that dirty filthy floor. Had to be removed by the employees of the club. I have THAT in writing.

Poor thing - I had to buy him Dunkin Donuts and coffee he was so broke. Millionaire! HA - from illicit promo copies!

And what's really twisted. There's an audience for Oedi's escapades - look at the hits this thread I started got. Yeah, I do dictate when the peanut gallery consists of one person who is not supposed to be posting hear - troll!

I have one name on this board but you have gotten into fights with several people on this board all because they disagree with you and proved your posts to be mostly without merit and completely full of spite and jealousy. YOU're the Troll buddy.

True; show me the man who became a millionaire selling promo cd's and Ill show you a man that also has a genie and a magic lamp hiden somewhere. It's not possible to amass that sort of fortune from that sort of enterprise no matter how much you wish it to be true it just is not.
 
So Oed sold promo CDs to become a millionaire?

At ten bucks apiece, he would have to have sold 100,000 CDs.

Even if it were possible, I don't think 100,000 different CD titles exist!

Maybe he did some other things (ahem), but CDs would have been a small part it seems.
 
You wouldnt even get ten bucks for promo cd's they are usually sold for that much in used record shops so they would have to buy them for a lot less to make any kind of profit off of them. It's just not true.
