was listening to 103.7 ok ok yes I do listen to them since not the same people playing the same songs, now with a bit a mix to it, well koul 1037 came in and blasted rock 1037 right off the radio up here in tomball, like local, 107.5 had some chop to it, all the stations off the missouri city sticks were stable

More tropo, More flopo.

I got this too, on the North side of Houston. KOUL was fighting with KVIL which was fighting with KIOL and none of it was listenable. I'm hoping this isn't going to be a recurring thing throughout the winter months.

The recent warmer weather is responsible for this. The tropo conditions will disappear when the next cool/cold front moves through.

Re: More tropo, More flopo.

KIOL 103.7 was mostly non existant in The Galleria area for the better part of Monday morning. Woke up at 6am and KOUL was like a local and stayed on top until around 9am when KIOL would break through occassionaly. Didn't matter how I aimed the antenna, Rock 103.7 just couldn't overpower KOUL.

It was a pretty strong opening though, KODA 99.1 had KRYS 99.1 Corpus Christi breaking through thier signal every so often even. Didn't have time to scan the band, but imagine it was like that on most of the frequencies. The only other stations that I had on were Mega 101.1 which had the signal being degraded from interference every so often, but no station actually surfaced and KOVE 106.5 which had an excellent signal and had no interference any time I was listening, which was most of the morning.
