that a couple of people have been casually approached by a contact within the new Goodradio about a possible senior management position for the Burlington cluster. These are both folks who have been in Burlington radio in the past and in a management capacity. The Goodradio folks seemed to be concerned with the revenue numbers (or perhaps a lack of them) plus the aggressiveness (again lack of) for the cluster within the marketplace. Could they be looking for a new GM before they even take over? These guys will be a ton of fun to work for!

Clear Channel to be Goodradio has a great GM in place in Burlington who has enjoyed a successful track record in the business, and the rest of the group there ain't too shabby either.

Ray D oh!

A little Birdie told me... that you were WRONG! Again!

Now stop trying to be " in the know" when you're not. Get your facts straight when you're dealing with peoples careers.

that deal (Good Broadcasting taking over the Clear Channel/Burl. cluster) is off....somebody was fudgin' some numbers.....

The deal is not off. The same private equity company is buying the stations BUT without Dean Goodman (he is the GOOD in GoodRadio). Goodman was only a hired gun brought in to run the company for the money guys. They will be announcing a new hired gun soon.
