a little bored so....

gonna do a little rehashing of a topic....and what has been beat to death, topic wise, KTFM of course! ::)

I was reminded about KTFM when I was on the Atlanta board reading about their new station, a Rhythmic AC called The Groove @105-7. Border or BMP or whoever they are now should have done this, and I do realize they almost had it....but also didn't. This station reminds me of 90's KTFM, by the music selection and the jingles...

If not Border, then Cox should, FM Talk.....what a waste........wouldn't be suprised to hear Santa 106 come back....although i would like 106.7 or 105.3 go Alternative or AC w/a rock lean, like the "old" Mix 96.1

I don't think much is going to change until the results of the PPM's are released in late Dec. But yeah, my guess 106.7 FM Talk will be heading another direction.

Rhythmic AC- IMO, CC knows how to do the Rhythmic AC format right. Not sure what the hell happened with 105.9 in Austin but I believe the format can work in SA.

Back in the 70s we had rock and ''chicken rock'' otherwise known as AC. Perhaps the Rhythmic AC 105.9 was doing was seen as the chicken rock of this generation.

PPM subscribers already got the first pre-currency book, October, and got the first weekly of No vember last Wednesday... and they get week 2 this coming Wednesday. Since the PPM is panel based, that would be sufficient data for major decisions already.
