I think it will be - the site below claims Wed. night is a preview, and from then on, there will be a regular mixshow from 9pm-2am Saturday nights.

I am glad to see some non-hip-hop dance coming back to Chicago.

Don't get too excited. Frankie sticks out like a sore thumb, he's far too smart to be around there, in fact, he'd have to dumb down to relate. He could take the overrated, overhumped and overexaggerated Harvey Well's place in a second but that'd be too smart a move for Nine.

My shrinking gut tells me that Nine will find a way to mess this up. I'm sure Harvey doesn't have a clue what's going on and how this will benefit him and that Godforesaken place. Too many years of riding the mediocre performance wave and being slurped on by industry cronies who do just as little.

Once again my sympathies have to go to the PD, seems like a nice guy who's caught in the middle of a "here's your sign" fest. That .6 is Harv's doing not his. I guess that's the new definition of "changing radio", making bad numbers look good. Poor Harv doesn't have the power of a national sales force like Infinity to bend the media buyers over and make 'em cough to outrageous ad rates. Reality set in I'm sure and he's probably still in denial.

With Frankie comes national buys from people who are very friendly to him and know his brand and support it. However, those spots are actually paid with money instead of trade or goods from Barter Town or the farm that trades out fourteen celery stalks per spot. Having Frankie around might confuse Harvey because he'd attract more attention to the station than they'd know what to do with. They'd actually make MORE money and have MORE listeners and that doesn't seem to be what they're in this for.

While the station sounds better than it did at launch, that's like saying a man who was 847 pounds lost 60.

I have a problem expressing myself. I guess I'm just trying to say I want world peace.
