A little more about KPAC Port Arthur

I use to work with Robert X and Rex Russell at KKMY when it was on Fannett Road in Beaumont. Robert and I did a show on Sunday afternoons. Robert and Rex were both great guys!

Was it KKMY or KWIC that was on Fannett Road?

It was definitely KWIC-FM (Quick 108)

Kpac

I worked at KPAC in 1978 as a news reporter. We were a news-talk station owned by Clear Channel Communications and located out on Gulfway. The sister FM, KHYS was Disco!!!!!! For a news junkie the News-talk format was great. There was always something going on in Golden Triangle and we had plenty of air time to expose it all. I worked with Sue Davis, Gordie??, Lettie Lanza, Kerry Painter and some other great journalists. I also worked at KOLE for a bit with Robert X Brown. We were downtown in the upstairs of a bank building.
