Hadn't seen this on the board. Posted on All Access, 10-10. I guess some got what they wished for. Who do you think fills, and what should they look for?

Infinity VP/AC Programming & KVIL PD Smokey Rivers Resigns

With a number of options in front of him, INFINITY VP/AC Programming and KVIL/DALLAS PD SMOKEY RIVERS has turned in his resignation. Counting TIM SABEAN's exit, RIVERS is the second VP/Programming to resign from INFINITY this week. Interesting timing as the company's programmers are all in NEW YORK CITY for meetings, beginning today (10/10).

Although traveling this week on the EAST COAST, SMOKEY is reachable through KVIL for the rest of the week at (214) 691-1037 or [email protected]. And, after this week find SMOKEY at (214) 769-5559 or at [email protected].

Sometimes you just have to wonder if it wouldn't be just as difficult to return KVIL to it's Glory Days as it would be to return KLIF to it's Glory Days!

When you have too many suits;who never opened a mike, who never listened to KVIL in it's hey day, who's idea of creativity is changing the color of their ties, and who know more about programming than a PD who has done it with a successful track record of 20+ years, the difficulty lies within themselves. Common sense is non-existent in their world.
