I think Mr. Zellner likes 12 November. Other iHeart stations switched to Holiday on this day, including 93.9 HD-1 WLIT in Chicago. While he was at Sirius XM, this is the day which Sirius and XM playlists merged in 2008 - 12 November, 2008.
The CHR Holiday playlists across iHeartMedia clusters are very predicable and consistent year over year. However, that's not a bad thing - I think that they're well programmed, and there's little need to change it. None of the Holiday tunes get boring - some get annoying*, but none are really boring.
* I will shoot the next radio I hear play "Nuttin For Christmas/Barry Gordon"**.
** Do They Know It's Christmas?/Band Aid is a close second...
