A MeTv decision

Quite some time ago, after MeTV ran out of "Columbo" 2-hour slot movies to run on Sunday evening from 8:00 - 10:00 pm, they put "The Invisible Man" series on in that open half-hour slot. That lasted a pretty short period of time before more "M.A.S.H." re-runs were dumped there, seemingly like a useful place-holder. They run "M.A.S.H." anyway for an hour near prime-time Monday through Friday, so using it further seemed curious to me.

This is not new, but I wonder what happened in this case. I'm guessing whatever audience measurements they use indicated that, like the invisible man, the audience was invisible too, so they axed it.
