A most wanted graveyard station in the log - 11/25 into 11/26/15

I have been looking for this station dozens of times, for years now. As midnight rolled around local time, going into Thanksgiving, this most-wanted station was finally bagged!

1230 - KHSN Coos Bay, OR; Ad Council PSA at 2359.30 PT; ID at 0000 PT "This is NBC Sports Radio, 1230 KHSN Coos Bay." NEW #711, 1KW @ 283 miles. Very pleased with this, and what a way to start Thanksgiving off! 1230 #16, OR #93/94.
The 94th Oregon (and final to confirm) would be KURY-910 Brookings. They are adult standards, with 1000w days and 37w night. But I have KMTT and CKDQ in the way if I try at sunset. Hoping for a fadedown of KMTT, just like what KHSN did tonight (KCUP and KRYN were not around).

2359.30 or ANYTHING 59:30 seems to be all that's available to ID most stations nowadays -- GYs, or 'regionals', or even FM skip stations.

Your words indicate that you're having some kind of AM fun out there, Crain! Nice catch!

Congrats on KHSN. I heard them several nights in a row some time this last Spring. Never heard them since.

KURY is also one of my most wanteds. The terrain around Brookings probably doesn't work in our favor any more than CKDQ's dominating that channel, but ya never know.

Always liked the Brookings area -- that part of the Oregon Coast is my favorite. So it would be cool to hear that station.
