A Nation Explodes

I'm referring to the Savage Nation.... What happened lately ? Why is Savage destroying his own show ?? Why is he away every second day ?? Its sad to see how the 3d top rated radio show exploding from within!!
Here is a list of stations Savage was recently dropped from.

WSB Atlanta

WIND Chicago

KLIF Dallas-Ft Ward

WOKV Jacksonville

KTTH Seattle

KFYI Phoenix

WTMJ Milwaukee

Savage is not cleared in 7 of the top 10 markets!! Savage must be proud he will be in retirement soon...

And it will be a matter of time before WOR/710 New York drops him, after already having given Glenn Beck and Steve Malzberg the heave-ho for more mundane and moderate fare. Savage's show is the most politically charged show left on WOR, and sticks out like a sore thumb.

And don't forget KTRB/860 San Francisco, who dropped Savage last September after the station went into receivership (and ultimately flipped to ESPN Deportes). He has had no "home station," as it were, since then.

Honestly, the thread really should be titled "A Nation Implodes" - exploding would be implying that his show is gaining affils and attention, no?

Yeah you're right , cant modify anymore.

Since his family has an interest in the Rockstar beverage, he won't be hurting for money. $100 million?+

On-air notwithstanding, Savage was - by far - the nuttiest guy I've ever seen around the studio. That's all the explanation you need.

Not sure why he has been away for so long. He usually works when all the others take a day off.

He should have a real-time replacement though as a talk show talking about old news just doesn't cut it for long.
