While I like the Bow Wow feat Ciara it doesn't come close to being as good as Ciara's new single "And I". For a 4th single (5th if you're one of the stations that played "Roll With You" off the Coach Carter Soundtrack) this cut is hot. Perfect female ballad with a hook like:

And I
Know that he won't break my heart
And I
Know that we won't never part
It's time
Time for us to settle down
And I
Wanna be with him forever

I'll probably never get this song off the station once it hits the air and the video comes in.
______________

> Bow Wow Featuring Ciara, "Like You"

Too early.

> Squad Up Featuring Lil' Flip, "Beatin' Up The Block"

Nope.

> Mexiclan Featuring Dru-Ha, "Si O No"

Nope.

> Gwen Stefani, "Cool"

Hit, but it will take time at Rhythmic.

> T.O.K., "Footprints"

Haven't heard this.

> D.H.T., "Listen To Your Heart"

Hit at mainstream, but rhythmic? Not likely.

> Trick Trick, "Welcome To Detroit City"

No.

> Natalie, "Ooh"

Ehh... I like her, but I'm not sure this is a hit.

> Lil' Mo, "Them Boyz"

I thought she went away? Damn.

> Bow Wow Featuring Ciara, "Like You"

Love this song!

> Squad Up Featuring Lil' Flip, "Beatin' Up The Block"
> Mexiclan Featuring Dru-Ha, "Si O No"

Haven't heard those two.

> Gwen Stefani, "Cool"

Who would play this on rythmic?

> T.O.K., "Footprints"

Haven't heard it.

> D.H.T., "Listen To Your Heart"

CHR/Pop only...CHR/Rythmic should not be playing this.

> Trick Trick, "Welcome To Detroit City"

Generic rap.

> Natalie, "Ooh"

It's awesome! I love her CD too.

> Lil' Mo, "Them Boyz"
> Ray J, "One Wish"
> Remy Ma Featuring Swizz Beatz, "Whuteva"
> Syleena Johnson, "Another Relationship"
> Big Ro, "Gimme Dat"

All of these are just generic rap.

> Eddie Dee With Daddy Yankee, "Donde Hubo Fuego/Pa'Tras,
> Pa'Lante"

Haven't heard these.

> Fantasia, "It's All Good"

No, just...no.

> Javier, "Dance 4 Me'

Awful.

> Marques Houston, "Naked"

Good track, maybe more towards Urban than Rythmic, but still good.

Actually, "Thug Style" is Ciara's new single.

For those who think D.H.T.'s "Listen To Your Heart" isn't getting played at Rhythmic....

....Guess Again!

WNVZ/Norfolk(33 spins)
WRDW/Philadephia(20 spins)
WTWR/Toledo(33 spins)
WGBT/Greensboro(7 spins)
XHTO/El Paso(14 Spins)

The only real rythmic stations giving D.H.T. spins are WNVZ and WGBT. KNGY, WKTU, and WTWR are rythmic leaning CHR/Pop stations, and KNHC and WRDW are rythmic leaning dance stations. So really, if you count up the real rythmic stations playing it, it comes out to 40 spins. Not too big if you ask me.

My bad, La Face changed it to "And I". BTW, it's a REALLY HOT cut.

> Actually, "Thug Style" is Ciara's new single.

Neva eva got a CD Pro for "Thug Style" although I saw some posts about it previously. But this week a CD Pro showed up for "And I". Besides, I don't care what the singles are anyway. Just play the best stuff. For that matter "My Humps" by BEP isn't a single but it's a total reaction record. Holla.

Extremely interesting that you call Syleena Johnson generic rap when she is a R&B singer, and quite a woman.

But Mediabase considers those stations you mentioned as Rhythmic Hit stations regardless of direction, so whether they lean towards Hip-Hip or Dance their playlist and spins is monitored continously.

Wired will play almost anything.... Z104 tends to pick up some mainstream titles every now and then.... Tower 98 claims to be rhythmic, but they're not.

The other two, I don't know that much about, so I'll give you those.
______________

Some of these "experts" on Rhythmic music on this board need to be reminded that Dance music is part of it. Hip Hop is not the only form of Rhythmic music there is. a true Rhythmic CHR will pick it up, unless is one of those stations that play 99.999% Hip Hop/R&B/Reggae/Reggaeton.
