A NEW DAILY UPDATE-STOOPERTALK

Trust no one. In the halls at the 8-9-5 do the people really trust each other? Insecure are you?

Just this week a caller to StooperSports (caller number 3 of 8 total) called to ask the male board op/program director to "laugh," because the male caller liked his chuckle. The good news is its wonderful to hear StooperTalk embraces diversity. The bad news is callers to so called sports talk shows should know the differences in genders. So keep checking back. Now we begin to point out issues.

Today's riddle to the 8-9-5, who are the following people:

Robert Roth (bad talk host)
Lindsey Wood Davis (bad radio GM)
Greg Batton (bad talk host)
Bobby Novasad (morning guy that didn't get it)
Fast Eddie, Hans Nelson (this guy caved way too easy)
Yer Bro CJ or real name Cletus Clemont (hated his name..can't blame him...when people found out ::))
Chuck Wood (bad temper ;D)
Jimmy Akers (some really dark, deep, disturbing secret )
Roger Cavanass (DNS-did not show)
Kirk Herbstreit (should have registered to vote)
Skip Mosic (be careful of the resume Skipper)
oh....and one they may know....Steve Bender (lunch was embarrassing)

?

Before you act, think. Because you really have no idea. Stevie B got off light.

Trust no one.

(And coming soon a blog. Look for the link.)

I give. Who are they? Do I get a cookie if I guess correctly?

Oh, and while I'm asking questions, what the heck does this have to do with Supertalk at all, other than some freak caller wanting to hear the PD laugh?

Well, you know. These are the people that know how to run things, and that's why they're making killer radio stations. ::)

It's the new lineup for FM Talk 94.1! ;D

Wow. Usually I understand at least ONE sentence in an initial post, but not this time.

Supertalk seems to be making some progress, at least on the weekends. Getting rid of the no-names like Mancow and the TV show infomercials like Beck and O'Reilly will come in time.

I still won't listen during the week, but it sounds like weekends are becoming what an FM talk station should be: talk for guys sittin around munchin BBQ and drinkin beer. This could start to get interesting.

Talk radio on 96.5... What a complete WASTE of a great FM signal.

You know that old adage about opinions... everybody's got one, etc.

I recall you carped about Chris and Janeen's show, too. If you don't like it, don't listen. The last book proves that not everyone thinks it's a waste of the radio spectrum. I've heard callers on Furman's show who picked up the FM talk bug because they never go to the AM side of the dial, and they liked what they heard.

Oh, and since I happen to be part of the Supertalk staff, thank you for telling me that what I do is a waste of time. It sure doesn't seem that way from my perspective.
