Was that the pitter patter of Tim Closson's little feet in the YGY hallway? Could they be interested in hiring the man who beat them like a drum for so many years at B-105? He has great country music connections, solid programming brain, could be interesting!

He's been in and out of their hallways for the last year, so is the word at B. My guess, giving them an "outsiders" perspective more than anything. Don't think he'll be their PD.

I agree. Tim seems to be deadly serious with his career as a Realtor for Sibcy Cline. I spotted him at a golf outing in September as he and I now have closely connected careers as a Realtor and a loan officer (at 5/3).

If he's giving them an "outsiders perspective" (consulting) either they're not taking his advice or his advice isn't working. I've seen numerous stations pay a consultant for advice. He gives them, let's say, a list of 20 items to work on. The station decides to take numbers 1,4,7,9 and 18. Then when it doesn't work, it's the consultants fault! If I were a bettin' man, I'd bet this is the case at YGY. At B-105 Tim consistently outperformed the competition. Bet he could do the same if he got the reins at YGY.
