So, hey, I saw where Cumulus hired a new PD for WJLQ (Q-100?) all the way from Danbury, Connecticut. Has he got that puppy barking, yet? (Killer signal--booms into MoTown as strong as Pcola--not to put any added pressure on him or anything, but that sumbitch can hum). Has he found The Dock, yet? Does he get the whole "beads & Moonpies" thing?
So, hey, I remember that CC was advertising for a Station Manager for TK/YCL a few months back. Did they hire somebody? Or did they think better of actually spending non-trade cash money on somebody to whip the underlings? (Yeah, I was tempted for about 30 seconds, but then realized that I'm too old to put up with CC-type BS). Any indication of life in the building?
And how IS the Great PCB CHR War shaking out between Eye Land One Zero Six and The Great 108 over there on the World's Most Beautiful Beaches (if you've never been anywhere else)? I'm really curious, and Curious Minds Want To Know!Anyone down there within earshot of these babies want to enter their astute observations? Have they both driven rates down to 5 bucks a shot? Or a beer & a shot? Or is everybody making tons-o-cash and happy as clams?
