A news report about a radio station

This morning, I heard a news report at 7:00 am on WDLW. I was driving at the time, so my focus wasn't as good as I would have liked it to be. It was about a radio station that, I think the newscaster said, was around the Bryan, Ohio area, and was at 96. something. I'm pretty sure it was referred to as "K-96". The station has gone off-the-air due to a natural disaster or some other devastating occurrence. The owners were quoted as saying that they're going to re-build the station, but that it will take a long time.

Of note: "No one was inside the building at the time of the fire". I know that this is common these days at these smaller stations to just let the automation run and lock the door.
