IN STOWE, VERMONT, WHICH HAS NO LOCAL MARCHING BAND, ORGANIZERS OF THE WORLD'S SHORTEST (4th of July) PARADE HAVE FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE INSTANT PARADE MUSIC: THEY CREATED THE ALL MEN'S MARCHING RADIO BAND, WHOSE MEMBERS CARRY THEIR OWN BOOM BOXES, ALL OF THEM TUNED TO A LOCAL RADIO STATION THAT PLAYS MARCHING MUSIC FOR THE PARADE. Good Company 14AM(1400) WILI Willimantic, CT has been doing this for the July 4th prade for YEARS and has gotten NATIONAL attention for it.They play the music, people march with radios tuned to AM 1400
