A Pop Station Going Buh-Bye?

I've heard that all of the jocks are out at WOMP-FM in Wheeling, West Virginia, in favor of a "No jocks, all music" format... Does this mean that "JACK" is moving to Wheeling or are they going to try the "Channel" approach that is being used by a few (three?) Long Island stations?

Make that the former: www.wompfm.com

I heard the station as late as a week and a half ago, and you can tell it was dying. It didn't seem to be a CHR at all. I would put it in more of a Hot AC context. I know on another board, others were arguing it as well. I actually live about 20 miles from the station, so I am very aware of what this station was to the Ohio Valley. It will be missed, but I think it has been going down hill ever since Bob and Sherry were placed in mornings over 18 months ago.
RIP
