A POSSIBLE FIX FOR KGOW

It was mentioned that KGOW will have a 100 WATT XMTR for use at night until/if
the 19-KW xmtr at Katy is approved. Why dont they place SEVERAL 100-watt
XMTR in the area and synch them together. Perhaps they could get permission
to place rigs say in Sugarland, Katy, Humble, and various locations with high populations (and $$$$) as a temp fix.

Old Chicago

Even if they could get these past the FCC (doubtful), it would probably be too little, too late. As others on this board have commented, history will show that they should have never signed on until they had all of their technical issues worked out.

A definite fix for KGOW....sell, sell, sell, sell, sell.

They could put a Part 15 fleacaster in every neighborhood, all on the same frequency. ;D ;D ;D

It's possible...feed them with a UHF Marti frequency, but man, what a headache to set up! Far more trouble and money than it's worth.
