A prediction on Multicasts in San Francisco

Well, since you all were talking about HD Radio below, figured I'd better share my ideas of what you could hear as a 2nd feed

The CC cluster

94.9-2 could be Wild-2 as a all dance format, seeing that Wild still devotes a good deal of airtime to the Wild Workout and House Nation. It also challenges Energy head on. 98.1-2 will likely carry a Gospel or actual Urban AC feed to compliment KISQ's current Rhythmic AC direction. 101.3-2 could become the new home for KABL, but I still see a possibility of a Soft AC(Sunny?). 103.7-2, let's chill. Or do you like real Jazz instead? 106.1-2: No question, Old Skool Hip Hop. KMEL-2 is the perfect place to represent this, they know about the days when Too Short and E40 were straight pimping.

The Infinity Cluster

97.3-2 could be straight ahead CHR/Pop, if 97.3-1 doesn't go there first. 99.7-2 is where KRFC will be dumped as 99.7-1 becomes Jack. 105.3-2, either FM Talk or Active Rock! I can't make predictions on 106.9-2 just yet, Infinity hasn't even purchased it.

The Susquehanna duo

104.5-2 will likely become Deep Tracks. It could very well work in San Francisco, as you guys are a very progressive town to begin with. Now, 107.7-2 could develop a EXTREME ROCK format since the perception is that the Bone is extreme enough on the classic side to begin with.

Inner City's lone station

Ah, 102.9. Well, Urban Oldies or Gospel is the compliment to this baby.

I'm not making any spanish predictions, don't know much about the formats and such.

Well, there's some thoughts. Hope you all enjoy. Who knows, mabye some of them will actually get on the air. Scary, someone listens to a Radiogeek dude for once.

JOSH, Moderating the whole Radio-Info radio state of California and Indiana too!</P>

so, you could only get the multicasts channel if you have an HD ready radio??? too bad they are like 400-500 dollarz. I'd rather spend my money buying a new portable my-fi sat. radio. (PLUG!!!!)
