Some here have posted that Kerri Rodrigues who is a talk host pd at wsar is suspended.
Her Blog is down.
There are posts saying WSAR is being sued because of a Kerri 'situation'

Whats going on? :eek:
 
I don't follow Fall River Politics and I'm not exactly sure of the name of the person involved. But I beleive it is Brad Kilby. Kerri got on her Blog and on the air and started personally attacking him by calling him Giggles. She said that it was because when she had him on as a guest all he would do is laugh. Well his camp fired a letter back at WSAR calling Keri unprofessional for personal atacks and name calling. They demanded that she stop or they would hold Keri and the Radio station personally accountable for Slander. Keri published this letter on her blog and basicaly taunted them back by telling them not to hold their breath for an apology and any law suit would be laughed out of court. This was a bold move for Keri to make since the person she was making fun of is actually an Attorney!

The next thing I know...... the entire Blog vanished. Not just that entry. I mean the entire WSAR Blog was fully deleted yesterday and Keri was not on the air. Keri may have felt she was the powerful one. But so far it seems that Kilby is much more powerful than she.

I worked with Keri in Providence. If this is true, it doesn't surprise me. The only way I would believe anything she says, is if she were hooked up to a Polygraph. Scary.
 
Keri can pretty much do what she wants. She's not going anywhere. She does about 3 jobs at WSAR!
Those Karams pay her VERY LITTLE. They could never do without her.
Taking the Blog down is to avoid legal matters, thats all!
Keri will be back on today or Monday. bye, bye. lol. :-*
 
Keri emailed me last night as she typically does when I post about her on this board. She's gets in a huff and can't control herself. She said her blog got hacked and missed the first hour of her show as she tried to take care of the situation.

I don't know if this is true or not. She has personally lied to me on numerous occasions. Others here claim that she's lied to them as well. So who the hell knows what is true and what is not??? She seems to have a different story going for every person that she talks to.

All I can tell you is that she is definitely not to be trusted in my book. She may fool some people, but I'm way to smart for her. That's a FACT.

The blog was hacked yesterday with hard-core porn in its place. I can guarantee that. And no....I didn't hack it.
 
Heard Keri on Alan tonight.

- Funny how nobody knows what LNG is outside of Fall River.

- Keri held her own as usual. But if I were her, I would have told her followers to not call. Sounded very staged and phony. Made her look like a "D" level star on a presumed "A" radio program.
 
I taped the program. People didn't know nor did they care what LNG was. Even Alan had to ask what it was. It's just not an issue that effects anybody outside of Keri land. Alan was having a good time with the show and the dude who voiced Deputy Dog made the show fun as well. In a battle of wits the men were the clear winners tonight. Keri just did a bunch of what she does on WSAR. Nobody sounded impressed. It's a good thing Keri likes Fall River so much. I doubt anyone is going to be calling to steal her away.

PS. I don't know what kind of Ratings Alan has, but I was able to get through on the phone four times tonight. The first three times the phone rang on the first try!! That is unheard of for a National show. I felt like I was calling a local program with no listeners. It would have been so easy to rain on Keri's parade if I had just held the line. However that wasn't my objective. So I just hung up. Bottom line is that I don't think Alan has that many listeners. If he does.... than I think they all went out tonight. Maybe when people heard Keri they turned off their radios. LOL.

I've been listening to see how this war between her and Brad Kilby goes. When a guy starts threatening her with legal action, I find myself interested in how she's going to handle it.

LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) is an issue only in those locales where there are plans to build a terminal to receive it. There are very few LNG terminals in The U.S. though a fair number in Mexico and Canada. As natural gas supplied run out in The Continental U.S. you'll hear more and more about it. There is a race on in other countries to liquify natural gas and transport it by ship to The U.S. Without receiving terminals it'll go to places like Canada and Mexico and be shipped by rail or pipeline to U.S. cities to keep folks warm in winter and cool in summer. Of course those countries will have their hands on the valves and will want their sizeable cut on gas passing through, resulting in higher prices which we'll all get used to.

The whole subject is a major issue in Fall River, hence on WSAR's talk shows, because of a plan to put a receiving terminal approximately where the old Shell Oil refinery was at Weaver's Cove. Some of the concerns are legitimate and some are being inflated by NIMBYs and BANANAs.

NIMBY: Yes, I want cheap natural gas to heat my house but Not In My Back Yard.

BANANAs: Yes, I want to own my own house and have it warm in winter but once I have that I want government policy to Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything.

When all else fails in stimulating local talk you can always find a project, no matter how small, to be opposed by local NIMBY and BANANA forces to agitate up a red-hot exchange.
