A Question About Ft Myers

How many spanish stations does the Ft Myers/Napples market have and whats the best one? do miami stations ever reach ft mayers?

I guess since I am R-I's official spelling Nazi, it Naples...kinda like in Italy

Last time I went through the area, there were three, all on the AM. Ft. Myers has a much smaller hispanic population than Miami.

And Miami stations sometimes do reach Ft Meyers. I could get WRXK clear as a bell in Ft. Lauderdale before a pirate started broadcasting overmodulated creole stuff. Picked up WHDR 93.1 no problem all the way to Naples once. Given the warm tropical weather, stations can go far quite often. From where I lived in SW Orange County, I got stations like WPLA/Jacksonville, WHDR/Miami, WMBX/Palm Beach, WINK/Ft. Meyers on a regular basis.

"Nicest" and "inexpensive" are separate terms in most of Florida unless you live in the country. You're either going to pay $400/month for a worn-down apartment in ghettoville or 2-3x that amount for a better place. I would check Cape Coral, and maybe some places between Naples and Ft Meyers. If you don't mine a drive, look at Charlotte Co. A little cheaper there. Also, check craigslist

I just counted the Spanish programed stations in the Fort myers/Naples market there are four AMs, 1200, 1350,1440 and 1490 and three FMs 88.3,92.1 and 97.7

Omega:

Which station are you working for?

As for where to live...it depends on what you're looking for. Lehigh Acres is reasonably priced if you're willing to make the drive. Cape Coral is getting ridiculous.
